We’re excited to introduce you to Ricardo Moreno, our new Partnerships & Communications Manager! Ricardo is in charge of managing partner relationships and assisting in developing patient-centered materials. Before joining EatWell, he worked as a teacher for Teach for America in Dorchester for two years while attaining a Master’s in Education at Boston University. Afterward, Ricardo transitioned to studying Food and Nutrition Policies and Programs at Tufts University, graduating in May of this year. While at Tufts, he has helped develop nutrition programs to support and mentor Boston youth, worked as a research assistant for Obesity180, and won the Friedman Track Prize at the Tufts 100K New Venture Competition for his culturally relevant baby food idea. You can read more about his background and accomplishments on the TuftsNow 2022 Spotlights.
We first worked with Ricardo as an intern for EatWell in 2021, where he helped us with market analysis and understanding of the policies related to Food is Medicine. His work was valuable to our efforts in providing EatWell Meal Kits to patients. We look forward to continuing our work with Ricardo in this next stage!
